Brandie Ahlgren, founder and editor of CityDog MagazineABOUT THE FOUNDER | Over 20 years ago, Brandie Ahlgren, founder and editor of CityDog Magazine, was introduced to a brand new universe when Scout, an eight-week-old boxer puppy entered her life. “I am proof of how a dog can change your life,” she says. “I didn’t grow up with dogs, so puppy parenting was new territory for me. I found most of my information came through word-of-mouth, which is fine, but a go-to resource with fresh, up-to-date content was missing in the Pacific Northwest.” Hence, the concept for CityDog Magazine was born, and all of these years later, is still going strong. Brandie resides in Seattle with her two city dogs, Pancho and Thya.
