The Statler Rolls Out the Red Carpet for Rover

You don’t have to leave your favorite fluffy family member at home while you vacation – at least not at The Statler, which hosts pets with its new Fluffy Stay program.

Petcurean Go! Solutions

The historic downtown Dallas hotel is rolling out the welcome mat (literally!) for small dogs to stay in its luxurious guest rooms. Though cats are welcomed, Fluffy Stay is geared mostly toward dogs weighing less than 25 pounds.

Upon check-in, fluffy guests will receive a bandana, antibacterial wipes and a dog cookie designed to resemble The Statler’s Brand Ambassador, Llinda Llee Llama. They’ll also receive a Llove Lletter from Llinda Llee herself. She appreciates every four-legged friend that visits The Statler and wants to make sure that each of them feels welcome.

When you arrive at your room, you’ll find a doormat that reads, “There’s a furry guest or two chilling in this room.” Inside, you’ll find custom-made plush pet beds, food and water bowls, and a bone-shaped placemat.

Feel free to order in-room dining for your pet, just as you would yourself. Furry Companion Menu items include The Tailwagger ($9), your choice of an all-natural protein patty of turkey or chicken, along with a fresh veggie mix of peas and carrots with a touch of brown rice, and Llinda Llee’s Luxe ($5), a cup of small bite bananas and strawberries. Healthy cocktails are also available, including the Unleashed ($5), a small cup of low-sodium broth infused water that provides digestion support, enhances hydration, helps keep skin and coat healthy, and helps detoxify kidneys and liver. Fluffy Stay pets can also enjoy dining with you on one of The Statler’s two patios at Overeasy and Primo’s MX Kitchen and Lounge.

As with all things, there are rules to the Fluffy Stay program: When outside your room, Fluffy must be leashed, well behaved, right next to you and in your control at all times. Fluffy may only visit restaurant patios – not indoor restaurants – and cannot sit in human chairs or tables or eat off human plates.

The Fluffy Stay experience is available now. Inform the front desk upon check-in that you have a pet with you, and they’ll give Fluffy the full Statler experience.
